Have you ever looked at your website and thought to yourself “I wonder if this is pleasing in the eye of an Account Manager?” Neither have I, and sadly that is the problem! We get so caught up and trying to make the website look the way we want to, we kind of forget that it has to be inviting and easy to access for the people who are going to be looking at it. Recently in my Users Experience class we talked about making these Persona’s dedicated to fit the person’s occupation who you want looking at your website. For example, if there is an agency that you wish to work at one day, you would study that agency and see what social media they use and start to tailor your website to meet those accommodations. You could add a twitter feed on your website, so when they visit, they would see your threads. Small details like that will set you apart from the competition.
