On this day March 25th, two days before my birthday. I was blessed with the greatest gift i never knew I needed. The CEO of the Martin Agency, Mrs. Kristen Cavallo stopped by and gave us a very moving speech that inspired everyone in the room. Mrs. Cavallo gave me goosebumps throughout the whole presentation! I will do my best to live up to her standards and uplift those around me. Her presentation already solidified what this son of a single mother already knew. Her presentation made me reflect about my journey here and all the important women in my life that got me here. As soon as I stepped up to her, my friend Andre and I proposed to her and asked her to be our mentor. The amount of work Mrs. Cavallo and her team have accomplished in this time span is amazing and if I could get a drop of her work ethic I would be set for a lifetime! When she told us the story about being offered her dream job around the same time her son got on the varsity soccer team, really put how life can throw difficult decisions at you. Mothers and women in general are always making sacrifices and I so relived that it all worked out in the end! Mrs. Cavallo really left a mark on me today and I hope I can carry that fire throughout my journey in this industry and in life. She also told us to do one impossible thing...I never thought I would propose to the CEO of the Martin Agency!
